On 16 May 2023, TERESA team visited the International Science Complex “Astana” (ISCA), an innovation platform in the heart of Central Asia that consolidates the resources of several universities. The complex includes 10 units, including the Institute of Geography and Environmental Research. The institute provides higher education and research on geographic and ecological sciences, implementing projects in the field of geography, environmental management and ecology. During the workshop, Nurlan Ongdas presented the TERESA project and the participants discussed several issues related to the implementation of green infrastructure in Astana and other Kazakh cities.
